Police have arrested a third man as they investigate the fatal shootings of Bethnal Green man Jayson Hassan and Lee Wallace of Loughton last November.
A 42-year-old man was arrested yesterday in Ilford on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at a north London police station.
Mr Hassan, 28, of Horatio Street, and Mr Wallace, 25, of Broadway, were both shot outside Strang House in Britannia Row, Islington, on November 9.
Mr Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene while Mr Hassan was taken to an east London hospital but he died the following morning.
Two other men, aged 27 and 42, who were previously arrested in connection with the double murder and who were bailed to return in February, have been re-arrested and are in custody at a north London police station.
