POLICE in Tower Hamlets and Hackney are holding a public meeting for people from the lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual communities to give them a chance to discuss any issues or concerns.
The meeting starts at 6.30pm at St Hilda's East Community Centre in Club Row, Bethnal Green on Thursday (August 6) and there will be advice from medication services and council experts available on
PC Melanie Conneely - LGBT Liaison Officer said: "We are keen to talk to local residents from the LGBT community to offer them advice, support and give them the opportunity to get assistance from the various agencies that we work with.
