Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a burglary in Tower Hamlets.

The police were called to a report of a burglary at the Activia Training Centre in East Smithfield, Tower Hill, on Thursday September 8.

The burglary occurred between 10.10pm and 10.30pm the previous night with computer equipment and personal items reportedly stolen from the commercial premises.

CCTV footage shows the suspect, described as a white man in his early 20s with brown hair and a small beard, forcing his way into the shop and looking for valuable items.

The man is seen wearing a grey hooded top with white writing on the front, blue jeans and black and white trainers.

Detectives investigating the burglary urge anyone who recognises the man from the CCTV recording or witnessed the incident to call 101 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
