Police were called to an incident on Tower Bridge during this-morning’s rush-hour when passing motorists reported a man attacking a vehicle with a crowbar.

It followed a minor road traffic accident, said Scotland Yard. But the man then drove off.

Damage is thought to have been caused to a Fiat Stilo car. No-one was injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the 8.15am incident to call 101.
