THE Tower Hamlets Green party was electioneering through the streets of the East End on Saturday in its "eco-friendlier" campaign bus.

Led by a Samba group of drummers and party cyclists, the bus travelled through Brick Lane, Bethnal Green, Victoria Park, Roman Road and down to the Docklands.

Bethnal Green and Bow MP candidate Farid Bakht and Poplar and Limehouse parliamentary candidate Chris Smith were on board.
