EU referendum: Tower Hamlets votes to remain despite Britain voting to leave

Tower Hamlets has voted to remain in the EU in line with most London boroughs, despite an overall vote to leave.

In Tower Hamlets, 35,224 voted to leave against 73,011 votes to remain.

Turnout stood at 64.6 per cent.
