Missing Queen Mary student found dead on south coast

A missing 23-year-old student from east London has been found dead on the south coast, police confirmed today.
Police investigating Jer Le Leow’s disappearance from Queen Mary University at Mile End found the body of a man matching his description, which was recovered from the beach at Holywell near to the Birling Gap, in East Sussex, on Friday. It followed a sighting of him earlier in the Eastbourne area.
The discovery has now been confirmed as the missing student. His death is not being treated as suspicious and next-of-kin have been told.
