Voters are set to go to the polls for the local elections this Thursday, May 3.
According to the latest YouGov poll, commissioned by Mile End’s Queen Mary University, Labour look set to pick up more than half of all votes cast in the capital.
They polled at 51 per cent, with the Conservatives trailing by 22 points on 29 per cent.
The Liberal Democrats, who have made a big pitch to EU citizens who are eligible to vote in local elections, are predicted to win just 11 pc of votes.
There has been no polling within individual London boroughs.
Voters should check their polling cards to find out where they need to go in order to cast their vote.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday.
The results are expected to come in the following day.
