AN EAST End shop could have its licence revoked after it was caught selling cigarettes and booze to underage customers.
Tower Hamlets council's Trading Standards has called for Poplar Convenience Store to have its licence reviewed after it was spotted twice in the past year selling alcohol to underage customers.
It was also caught handing over cigarettes to a 10 and 14-year-old at the shop in East India Dock Road.
And earlier this year, police discovered licence holder Mashood Alom was selling vodka and 95 bottles of wine without having paid stamp duty
Tower Hamlets council's Licensing Sub Committee will be reviewing its licence from 6.30pm on Tuesday at the Town Hall in Mulberry Place.
