A RELIGIOUS charity in looking for celebrities in East London and elsewhere to help prepare to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the English common Bible.

The Prayer Book Society, which promotes the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, is asking churchgoers who know any famous residents or VIPs in the community to invite them to take part in the Prayer Book anniversary in 2012.

The charity plans a year-long celebration of this historic English milestone and is already busy organising regional and national events. It is asking anyone who can help to email the society or telephone 0118-984 2582.
