Manchester rock band Elbow return to the O2 arena for two dates promising yet more rousing anthems.

Following the release of Mercury Prize winning album The Seldom Seen Kid in 2008, the group has enjoyed a meteoric rise to establish themselves as one of the UK’s most impressive live performers. A sold out arena tour and acclaimed set at Glastonbury Festival cemented their reputation, and Sunday’s gig provides those who have still to sample the delights of the five-piece in the flesh.

The band’s most recent release Dead in the Boot, is a collection of B-sides spanning 11 years of their illustrious career, which came out in August to critical acclaim.

December 2, at the o2 Arena. Tickets available from 35.
