Probe into mystery tower block death

POLICE are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man whose body was found at the bottom of a tower block in East London. Anthony Bartholomew was found dead by a security guard outside the 17-storey Waverton House by Victoria Park

POLICE are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man whose body was found at the bottom of a tower block in East London.

Anthony Bartholomew was found dead by a security guard outside the 17-storey Waverton House at Jodrell Road in Old Ford, by Victoria Park, about 7.20pm on January 4.

Footage from a CCTV camera nearby was later being examined to try and find out what happened.

Mr Bartholomew came from nearby Hackney Wick.
