Members and supporters of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party today marched through Tower Hamlets in protest at the admittance of Bangladeshi Prime Minister into the UK.
Protesters are aggrieved that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been given permission to enter the UK, arguing that she “has continuously been violating the fundamental human rights”. The march commenced at Bow Police Station at 3pm.
Mohammed Abdul Malique, convener of the UK branch of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, said: “We want to show solidarity with the Bangladeshi people.”
