Six story-tellers are to share absurd and funny personal experience about the science that has changed their lives.

They include two physicists from London University’s Queen Mary college, an anatomy researcher and a comedienne who are taking part in the Story Collider show at Bart’s Pathology Museum in West Smithfield near the Barbican on June 25.

The show demonstrates through storytelling how medicine, technology, maths and social sciences have an unexpected impact on everyday life.

Previous speakers have included a woman bitten by a potentially rabid dog and a high-tech hacker who was declared dead by a computer glitch while very much alive.

Tickets are free, but have to be reserved online.
