TOWER Hamlets police is holding an open day to boost its recruitment drive.
People interested in joining the police as an officer or as a civilian can come along to the open day at Bethnal Green Police Station on Saturday, May 15 from 11am-3pm for a tour of the station and custody suite.
There will also be presentations from specialist units, including the dog unit and the firearms unit.
The day is part of a recruitment drive to encourage people to join the police as a regular officer, special constable, paid police staff, volunteer or for people considering being a ward panel member or member of the Independent Advisory Group.
The minimum age for attendance is 18 and applicants must have no criminal record and be a resident of the UK for a minimum of three years.
