A food shop opened its doors on Thursday after a £365,000 refurbishment.
The Co-operative in Mile End Road, Stepney Green is promising a new shopping experience for customers – as well as four extra jobs.
The refurbished branch, near Queen Mary University, also includes a new cash machine and has extended opening hours.
New store manager Akeem Anthony said: “We know our customers lead busy personal and professional lives, and my dedicated and knowledgeable store team will be on hand to help them and make recommendations so they can get the most out of their visits to our store, and pick up delicious food conveniently.”
