RESPECT activists are gathering in Bethnal Green this weekend to discuss their next step following their disappointing showing in the General Election.
The party's leader Salma Yaqoob is set to speak alongside former Bethnal Green and Bow MP George Galloway.
Both failed to win Westminster seats in May's General Election.
Abjol Miah the former Respect leader on Tower Hamlets council who stood unsuccessfully to retain the Bethnal Green and Bow parliamentary seat will also be speaking at the meeting in Bethnal Green on Saturday.

Respect now has just one councillor on Tower Hamlets council, compared with eight before May's election.
However it was successful in triggering a mayoral election in Tower Hamlets in October.
