From 4.30pm Canary Wharf station will be entry only and Heron Quays station will be exit only due to the suspension of the Jubilee line.
Transport bosses are warning commuters that due to the suspension of the entire line both stations are expected to be busier than usual.
A power failure resulted in the line being suspended at around 10am.
It is not known when it will be back in service.
Tickets are being accepted on buses London Overground, Thameslink, DLR, C2C, Southeastern will be accepting valid London Underground tickets via any reasonable routes.
