Revamped Bow post office reopens seven days a week

A spruced-up post office reopens in London’s East End today with longer hours seven days a week including Sundays.

Bethnal Green & Bow MP Rushanara Ali formally cuts the ribbon at 10.30am at the revamped Bow Post Office at 161a Bow Road, which has been fitted out with a new retail serving area.

Opening hours Monday-to-Friday are now 8am to 8pm. Saturdays are 9am-5.30pm and Sunday afternoons 1pm-5pm, totalling an extra 26 hours a week for the public.

It has four counter positions, one screened, two open plan and a Post Office terminal at the retail till which is available during opening hours.
