A state-of-the-art machine to help keep premature babies warm and safe has been given by hospital wellwishers to the Royal London.
The Resuscitaire ‘Autobreath’ has been presented to the Paediatric A&E by Friends of The Royal London Hospital charity.
Paediatric Consultant Dr Ian Morrison said: “The warming technology of the Autobreath provides a safe environment in which pre-term babies can be treated medically while being kept at a stable temperature.”
The charity’s volunteers raised £10,300 to buy the device needed to help medics care for babies born too early to survive.
