A ship giving people of all physical abilities a chance to sail stopped off in the East End during a voyage from Edinburgh.

Tenacious which is operated by the Jubilee Sailing Trust docked

in South Quay, Canary Wharf, from last Thursday to Sunday.

Tenacious have special facilities enabling disabled crewmembers to take an active part in the running of the ship. Facilities on board include wide decks for wheelchair users, a speaking compass to enable blind people to helm the ship and power assisted hydraulic steering for those with limited strength.

The ship is now on its way to Southampton.
