Good Samaritans providing help for anyone struggling to cope with life have been given more than £1,000 by rail bosses at Liverpool Street to help keep their round-the-clock lifeline going.
The Samaritans charity was presented with a £1,169 cheque by Greater Anglia train operators.
It follows the company’s recent staff survey where a contribution is made to charity on behalf of employees.
Staff chose the Samaritans, which is available every day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whatever life has done to them. The Samaritans’ helpline is: 08457-909090, email jo@samaritans.org.
