Find out how Michael Clark, Josh Doherty, Victor Adeboyejo and Sam Roach have been getting on over the past week

Sammy Moore has been forced to kick his heels at Dover Athletic this week, but did catch up with an old friend on Saturday.

The O’s midfield wasn’t allowed to play for the Whites in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup at Burgess Hill Town last weekend.

It suggests the 29-year-old may still have a future at Brisbane Road after joining Dover on loan until January.

Although Moore wasn’t able to play in the tie, he was joined at the match by Orient legend Dean Cox.

Cox, now of Crawley Town, is on-loan at Burgess Hill, but was also unavailable for the cup clash.

Both enjoyed the occasion and Dover thrashed the Ryman Premier side 5-0 to reach the first round proper.

Moore will hope to get a chance to impress over the next week as the Whites host Braintree Town on Saturday in the National League before visiting Bromley next Tuesday (October 25).

Michael Clark was at the heart of East Thurrock’s defence last weekend as they earned yet another victory.

The Rocks smashed Weston-super-Mare 5-1 at Rookery Hill with O’s young centre back playing the whole National League South match.

Clark is set to feature again for East Thurrock this weekend when they host Ebbsfleet United.

Josh Doherty’s one-month spell at Altrincham has ended after he played in Saturday’s FA Cup win over Matlock Town.

Orient’s young left-back was at fault for the opener in the fourth qualifying round, but the Robins hit back to win 3-1.

After the match, the official club Twitter feed said: “Josh has returned to Orient following his loan spell with Altrincham. Thank you for your efforts, Josh.”

The Northern Ireland under-21 international will now get a chance to impress O’s manager Alberto Cavasin.

Meanwhile Victor Adeboyejo has returned to Soham Town Rangers in the Ryman North and had a big impact.

Orient’s talented forward was with the Cambridgeshire side last month, but was then loaned to Hastings United.

Adeboyejo is back at Rangers now, though, and helped them move out of the bottom three this week.

He played the full 90 minutes on Saturday as they defeated Hornchurch 1-0 at Julius Martin Lane.

And Adeboyejo then scored his first goal for the club at Cheshunt on Tuesday night in a 4-0 victory.

The O’s youngster hit the Rangers third in the 65th minute and will aim to get more minutes over the next few days.

A trip to Heybridge Swifts awaits Adeboyejo this Saturday before Norwich United visit Soham on Tuesday night.

Orient goalkeeper Sam Roach has had a mixed few days at local club Barkingside in the Essex Senior League.

After keeping a clean sheet during the 4-0 win over Southend Manor on Saturday, the teenager conceded four during a defeat at Redbridge on Tuesday.

Roach and Side will look to bounce back from their midweek 4-2 loss next Wednesday (October 26) when they visit Eton Manor.
