Santa is making early bookings for kids to meet him by appointment when he shows up in Docklands.
He is opening a grotto at the Museum of London Docklands on December 14 for 10 days.
Youngsters can meet Old Nick at Sailor Town, an evocative full-size reconstruction of Victorian Wapping, complete with winding cobbled streets, lodging house, shops and even a wild animal emporium, all festooned with decorations.
It will cost mum and dad £7 to get the youngsters in, photographs taken with Father Christmas are extra.
But you have to book ahead to get into the grotto at the museum in Canary Wharf’s West India Quay, entrance in Hertsmere Road, Millwall, by phone on 020-7001 9844, or online at www.museumoflondon.org.uk/grotto.
