Schoolboy Imran Chaudhury has bagged a big prize with a giant supermarket chain for his design of a shopping motif.
The nine-year-old won a competition at his local Tesco in Bromley-by-Bow promoting its new ‘click and collect’ online service.
Shoppers order groceries by computer and pick them up at a drive-through collection point in the car park without even getting out of the car.
Imran, a pupil at Old Palace Primary nearby, won 250 for the school and a 25 gift card for himself for his entry which was selected for its colour, impact, sense of fun and style.
But best prize of all was seeing his winning artwork printed on 250 reusable jute shopping bags which have been given out free to parents and children at the school.
