KIDS got their skates on and learned how to take to the ice with free lessons.
Pupils from Blue Gate Fields Primary School in Stepney took part in the free skating sessions at the outdoor Canary Wharf Ice Rink on Friday.
Children fro 60 schools in Tower Hamlets are taking part in the scheme, which is being funded by businesses at Canary Wharf.
Kids will have one lesson a week for four weeks and will learn the basics of ice skating, including how to turn, start and stop, balance, how to fall and stand up correctly.
