THE Mayor of London's decision to scrap the Venezuelan oil deal for our buses could leave thousands of job-seekers in the capital out of pocket.
We believe Boris Johnson made the right decision to stop one of the world's poorest countries from subsidising London's bus network.
But he now has a £15 million hole in his City Hall budget.
Will he put bus fares up to cover the loss in income? Boris has been strangely silent on his fares policy.
He should come clean about whether he is going to help Londoners on low incomes who are now losing out.
We Liberal Democrats think jobseekers are hit hardest by high cash fares compared to Oyster card users. Boris should show he cares too.
