Fawlty Towers star Prunella Scales hopped aboard a 1964 Routemaster with fellow actor Simon Callow for the launch of a project aimed at improving people’s employability.
The duo appeared at Wood Wharf on Monday aboard community development organisation Inter-Action’s Fun Art Bus - complete with an Olympic Torch.
The event, in Canary Wharf, marked the launch of the “Instant Business Enterprise System”, which is aimed at providing self-help and employability skills.
It does this by giving people the chance to use real money to provide an insight into the processes involved in setting up businesses. The short courses to be offered also aim to widen the career choices of participants and build their confidence.
