Just a handful of schools in Tower Hamlets are said to be shut today due to the snowy weather.
Pupils at Old Palace Primary School in St Leonard’s Street, Bow, Bishop Challoner in Commercial Road, Stepney, John Scurr Primary School in Cephas Street, Bethnal Green and Children’s House Nursery in Bruce Road, Bow are all enjoying a day off as their schools are shut today because of the snow.
Raines Foundation School in Old Bethnal Green Road is also closed.
Meanwhile pupils at George Green’s School in Manchester Road on the Isle of Dogs were allowed to head home after lunch.
