THE son of the woman of 100 found stabbed to death on Wednesday appears in court this-morning in East London charged with her murder.
Michael Fitzgibbon, a 61-year-old unemployed former cab-driver, appears in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court.
He is charged with the murder of his mother Hannah Fitzgibbon, who turned 100 in September.
Mrs Fitzgibbon was found at their home at Hainton Close of Commercial Road in Stepney on with a stab wound to the neck.
