PRIME Minister David Cameron gave US President Barack Obama a painting by a graffiti artist whose work graces the streets of Spitalfields.
The painting called 21st Century City by Ben Eine was presented to the President as Mr Cameron made his first official visit to Washington DC.
Eine is well known for his alphabet art and he has decorated shop grilles in Middlesex Street, Hackney Road and Bethnal Green Road.
He has even decorated the shop grilles with different letters down one street spelling out the letters of the alphabet, which can only be seen when the shops are closed.
He is said to be Samantha Cameron's favourite artist.
