One of the oldest settlements in London’s East End is holding a community open day next month to bring families together.
The fun day at St Margaret’s House in Old Ford Road, next to Bethnal Green’s York Hall, is on Sunday, September 9, from 12.30 to 4.30pm.
Live music and games are planned in the garden with a charity shop and pop-up stall and bar.
St. Margaret’s House Settlement is an independent charity which has been in Bethnal Green since 1889. It has 50 office and meeting spaces and a garden and community caf� with 30 voluntary organisations using it as a base.
