High-flying St Paul’s Way Trust School student Shamim Miah is one of 32 per cent of its students who are heading off to the country’s best universities after opening their A-level results.
Shamim, who got two As and a B, is set to study social policy and economics at the prestigious London School of Economics.
“I feel ecstatic that I got into my first choice university, LSE,” he said. “In the past few years, St Paul’s Way Trust has taught me that if you have a thirst for learning the grades will come. I enjoy learning, and intend to go on to learn much more!”
Overall, 48% of grades achieved by students at the school, in St Paul’s Way, Bow, were A*-Bs.
