Dear Ed,
I RECEIVED a letter from Tower Hamlets Council on December 5, 2007, saying the stairwell here at Stavers House in Bow would be cleaned and painted within a few weeks.
It is now 2009 and nothing has been done, even after numerous phone calls.
Tower Hamlets must be the most inefficient local authority in London!
