STARBUCKS workers left the coffee-making behind for the day to clean-up parks in the East End.
Volunteers from the coffee company were helping to refurbish the ranger station in Bethnal Green Gardens and give Millwall Park a spruce-up as part of the company's 'Day of Difference' community programme.
They also cleared up the rubbish along the Thames on the Isle of Dogs, created bird watching areas in Victoria Park for schools and community groups and sewed a new wildflower meadow and planting tress shrubs and bulbs in Wapping.
