Stepney born musician Jah Wobble will be taking part in a special concert and conversation session in Whitechapel tomorrow.

The 59-year-old, who is a contemporary of the Sex Pistols and former member of John Lydon’s Public Image Limited PiL, will be at Idea Store Whitechapel where he will be sharing his memories of the musical scene before performing.

Jah Wobble has had a varied 40-year career and has provided creativity and invention in dub and world music.

The discussion session will also explore a whole host of East End topics with Mike Tyrrell, the former chief executive of Tower Hamlets Community Homes.

The session starts at 3pm and from ± Jah Wobble and the Invaders of the Heart will play a set encompassing the genres of dub, world, ambient and avant-rock music,
