STORE workers in London's East End have helped raise 100,000 for the Dreams Come True children's charity in just 12 months.
Staff at the Cash Converters branch in Bethnal Green helped the company's outlets up and down the country with the cash drive for children with life-threatening and long-term illnesses to see their dreams come true.
But the company is not stopping at 100,000. It now plans an online auction through its website from Thursday (Oct 1) till October 11, with every penny going to the charity.
Peter Newman, the charity's chief executive, said: "It's amazing the company has reached 100,000, considering many charities are seeing donation levels fall in the economic downturn. This online auction is a kind gesture and we're hoping people will support it and pick up a bargain."
