It has taken Suzanne Linggood 17 years to arrive at platform 2 at Limehouse station.
She has finally reached her destination after completing the unusual feat of working at every one of the 26 stations on the C2C network during her career since 1994.
Suzanne has worked her way up to Group station manager this month and has become a familiar face to commuters across East London and Essex, having worked at all the stations from Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness.
“No two days are the same,” she says. “I’ve worked in various roles along the route, so I was pleased to finally arrive at Limehouse to complete my ‘full house’.”
She’s so keen on her job that she commutes to Limehouse daily from Southend—on the company’s trains, of course.
