Dancers of all abilities were invited to join Swing Patrol during free workshops with show dancers last night.

Swing dancing is known as being from the 1930s and 40s but is seeing a revival among today’s musicians and dancers, according to the organisers.

Swing Patrol is a nationwide community of over 700 dancers and 20 teachers.

Swing dance nights, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, will be back at Bishops Square on August 8 and September 12.
