A new team of residents and businesses hoping to revive Bow’s Roman Road Market is holding a public meeting this evening (Thursday).

The Roman Road Town Team was formed by residents, inspired by retail guru Mary Portas, whose government review recommended that local high streets should develop ‘Town Teams”.

They hope to generate ideas how to improve Roman Road with the help of residents, businesses and community organisations and are looking for volunteers willing to give their time and energy in helping make their ideas become a reality.

They will be meeting at The Café at St Paul’s Church, St Stephen’s Road, Bow, at 7pm.
