Andy Edwards will be making at least two changes to the team that started on Tuesday night

Andy Edwards has some tricky decisions to make ahead of Leyton Orient’s trip to London rivals Barnet later today in League Two.

The O’s will definitely be without captain Robbie Weir and right-back Jens Janse after the pair received red cards on Tuesday night against Plymouth Argyle.

Although the east Londoners appealed their skippers sending off, the FA failed to overturn referee Charles Breakspear’s decision.

It leaves Edwards without one option in the centre of midfield and he is sweating on the fitness of Liam Kelly and Nigel Atangana.

Both were forced off with injuries on Tuesday and remain doubtful for this afternoon’s clash at the Hive.

The hope will be that at least one of them will be fit to face the Bees and they could potentially partner Harry Cornick in the centre of midfield or even Jay Simpson.

It remains to be seen whether Zane Benedicic is available for selection after only joining Orient at the start of this month.

Yvan Erichot missed the visit of Plymouth with a groin problem, but he may be back for today’s fixture.

Edwards could perhaps turn to Alan Dunne if the French defender isn’t fit despite his long absence from the first team.

The ex-Millwall captain is understood to have been a positive influence on the youngsters at the club when he has been forced to train with the under-18s.

Dunne is able to play in midfield, right-back or the centre of defence and that versatility could be important.

If Erichot is unavailable, Edwards may decide to play Dunne and keep Nicky Hunt alongside Tom Parkes at the heart of the back four.
