The O’s could make changes to their starting XI and match day squad
Whatever team Leyton Orient boss Steve Davis puts out today at Woking, the XI selected will be desperate to deliver a strong performance and result in the National League.
The O’s suffered an embarrassing 6-1 loss away to London rivals Bromley on Tuesday night.
It was the type of result nobody associated with the Brisbane Road club expected and now they need to show some mettle.
Orient have lost their two away games this season, although both of them were played on an artificial surface.
Has that made much of a difference? Who knows, but O’s must respond in a positive way at Kingfield Stadium.
It will not be easy against a team which has won two out of two at home, but if Orient want to do anything significant this season, they need to be getting points on the road.
At Bromley Jobi McAnuff and James Dayton dropped to the bench, although they were summoned after just 45 minutes.
It remains to be seen whether they will start from the off this time, but it appears likely that Tristan Abrahams will be on the bench today.
The Norwich City loanee has yet to be named among the substitutes, although is set to replace Josh Koroma in the match day squad on Saturday.
Davis also had a decision to make in defence with his regular back four performing poorly at Bromley.
Macauley Bonne and David Mooney are set to start up front, however, especially with the former getting off the mark for the club on Tuesday.
