Canary Wharf USA dance troupe

Office workers enjoying their lunch break were given a special treat last week when a dance troupe from Texas, USA performed their spectacular routine in Canary Wharf.

The Trinity Valley Community College Cardettes wowed the crowd with their precisely-choreographed routine at Canada Square Park on Friday.

Dancers from the group – which was established in 1960 - took inspiration from hip-hop, high kick and jazz to come up with the routine.

The Cardettes were the first dance team ever to perform in Moscow, and Friday’s performance in Canary Wharf was the latest stop in a world tour.
