Thirteen consultants at an independent hospital in Stepney Green will feature in a guide to Britain’s 250 best doctors.
Among the doctors is heart specialist Dr Charles Knight who works privately for the BMI while also heading up the cardiac unit at Barts and the London NHS Trust.
The Doctors Guide being published this month writes: “This respected consultant has helped pioneer non-surgical treatments for patients with heart-muscle disease. With 20 years’ experience as a cardiologist, the keen gardener and bridge player has performed more than 4,000 procedures and has a particular interest in chest-pain assessment.”
Produced as a supplement by Tatler magazine, the guide recognises the brightest and most respected medics in the UK.
