Thursday’s Tube strike has been called off after “progress” made in last ditch talks

Thursday’s strike by Underground drivers has been called off.

Railway union Aslef made the decision after “progress” was made in talks between union officials and TfL bosses.

The strike was initially called because of a dispute over drivers’ conditions.
