Firefighters were called to a blaze at Morpeth School this morning.

The fire damaged part of a toilet block on the first floor of the Portman Place school.

Four crews from Bethnal Green, Shadwell, Homerton and Whitechapel stations were called at 9.20am and took half an hour to get it under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
