Residents are urged to come forward with their views on a planned revamp of an East End Park.

Tower Hamlets Council is planning to transform Bartlett Park in Poplar and is seeking feedback on a range of proposals during a six week consultation beginning on Monday (May 21).

Ideas on how to integrate the space, on which the adventure playground is currently located, into the main body of the park are being sought.

Views on designs of new play areas, including the adventure playground, along with the re-provision of the two football pitches and changing rooms are also being sought, plus feedback on the proposed park entrances.

Traffic calming measures along Upper North Street are also suggested, along with connections from the park to the canal and bridge improvements.

Visit www.towerhamets.gov.uk/parks to view the plans.

Residents can fill in an online survey at www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/consultation and or request a hard copy by calling 020 7364 6095.

There will also be open drop in sessions at Idea Store Chrisp on May 29 from 10am-1pm, June 13 from 2pm-5pm and Jun 27 from 5pm-8pm.

During an outdoor exhibition at Bartlett Park on June 17 staff will be on hand to answer questions. The consultation ends on Sunday, July 1.
