Tower Hamlets Fairness Commission is set to hold its final public meeting focusing on the question of how we can look out for each other in society.
Members of the public will be invited to interact with the commission’s chair, former canon of St Paul’s Cathedral Dr Giles Fraser, and expert panel members on the subject of how best to support the people who lose their jobs or homes, fall ill, or find themselves in vulnerable situations.
The commission was set up last year in a bid to come up with ideas on how best to tackle the divide between rich and poor in the borough, and is due to report in early summer.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26, from 2pm-8pm at Stepney Green Maths, Computing and Science College in Ben Johnson Road.
