Tower Hamlets Foodbank has received an interior design reboot – thanks to architecture firm Gensler.
First Love Foundation, which runs the foodbank, secured a new office space at Poplar Business Park but had no funds to refurbish.
So CEO Denise Bentley approached Gensler, which kindly created bespoke wooden tables and installed a meeting room, private office and tea point.
Denise called the gift inspiring. “We were so overwhelmed by the time, thought and inspiration that had gone into it,” she said. “We were simply amazed at the support they were able to garner and also extremely humbled.
“Having a fun, uplifting workplace that really does reflect who we are has not only inspired new, creative ways of working – but has shown the team how supportive Gensler and their network are of our work.”
