YOUNGSTERS from the East End will be singing their hearts out on the South Bank on Sunday as part of the Mayor's Thames Festival.
Pupils from St. Mary and St Michael RC Primary School in Stepney, Malmesbury Primary and Chisenhale Primary in Bow will be helping to create a choir of 750 young voices at the free festival.
They will be joined by choirs from schools in seven other London boroughs, including Hackney and Greenwich, who are all part of the music education project Kids' Choir which aims to introduce primary school kids to the joys of singing.
The youngsters will be performing at the two-day festival, run by the Thames Festival Trust, from 1pm.
